Fire Department
Enterprise has a very highly rated volunteer fire department. Well-equipped and well trained, these individuals put their life on the line to respond to fires, EMS calls, Hazmat incidents, vehicle extrications and other calls for assistance in the area. Their goal is to protect and preserve life and property, by putting out fires, rescuing the injured and working to prevent fires. The Enterprise Volunteer Fire Department runs under the direction of Chief Brenden Moody. If you would like to be a volunteer and help our community, please contact the City Offices.
The Enterprise Wildland Fire Crew is involved with wildland fire suppression/ management/control and perform this work on an engine or as part of a hand crew. These firefighters are part of an organized crew that utilize a variety of specialized tools, equipment, and techniques to actively suppress wildfires in our area. This crew also gets deployed to major fires across the United States. We also have a team of volunteer reserve wildland firefighters that stay in the area during these deployments in case of wildland fires on our home turf.
Extreme Fire Danger
Because of the large amounts of dry grass and weeds this year – be very careful with fire or anything that can cause a fire.
With our wet spring, we have a bumper crop of weeds and rye grass in and around town. For your safety and for the safety of others, please remove the weeds from around your house and lot. Also, use extreme caution: Do not park cars over dry weeds. Be cautious using equipment and ATV’s in and around dry weeds.
The “Burn Window” in town is now closed until Fall. If you have burnable yard clippings and tree branches, they can be taken to the City’s Burn Area that is north of the City Dump Station (a key is available from the City Offices).

Law Enforcement
For emergencies call 911, but for non-emergencies it is best to call 435-627-4300 and Dispatch will notify officers.
Enterprise City partners with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and with the Washington County School District to help fund a full-time officer for the city that is able to also serve as a “resource officer” at our local schools. In addition, the City contracts for additional law enforcement to help with events and as occasions may require. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department gives an additional basic layer of law enforcement service to our area.

Animal Control
Animal Control and Related Regulations:
All Dogs are required to be on a leash whenever they are off of the owner’s property. In addition, all dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. On occasion, the City helps advertise or sponsor a vaccination clinic so that local pet owners can have a more convenient way of taking care of their pet’s needs.
For information about regulations related to animals on your property, please contact the City Offices. Certain areas of the City are zoned to allow for large animals and certain areas are more restrictive and may not allow them. The number of animals on a property may also be restricted based on the type/size.
Violations of animal and pet regulations can lead to impoundment and fines.
Please be responsible pet owners, protect your pets, and be a good neighbor.
