Water
Enterprise City provides water services to its local residents. Cold clear springs above the city and 2 local culinary wells give the City diversified and reliable quality sources of water for culinary and yard use. The water is tested according to governmental standards to ensure safety and the water is treated prior to being piped to residences. In addition, this system provides a reliable source of water at our hydrants for fire suppression purposes.
Power
Enterprise City provides electricity to power the needs of its residents. With a broad mix of electrical generation resources, the City is well positioned to provide reliable power at competitive rates for years to come. Enterprise is a part of UAMPS. This organization allows the city to team up with other cities to help manage these electrical resources in the most cost effective way.

Sewer
When you flush or shower, that waste water needs to be treated. Enterprise City operates a well maintained sewer system. This waste water flows to the north east portion of town and is then pumped through a “lift station” into sewer lagoons where it is safely processed so that it will not harm people or the environment.

Garbage
Enterprise City participates with Washington County Solid Waste (WCSW) to properly handle garbage. Weekly residential garbage pick-up is handled by WCSW but is billed by Enterprise City as part of your monthly utility bill.
Commercial businesses are required to arrange for their own garbage service.
If your trash was missed on pickup day, you can call Republic Services at 435-773-4969
Bulky Items
Republic Services will no longer be doing curbside bulky item pickup. However, bulky item drop-off to the City/Washington County Solid Waste District Collection Station (Dump off of 950 East 100 North) will be available again as a replacement to that service. Bulky item dumpsters are on the North and South sides of the dump. Republic Services: 435-628-2821 or 800-438-5927
Limbs and Yard Debris
Limbs and yard debris can be taken to the City’s Burn area or under certain conditions may be burned in your yard. Please see the Burn Area and Burn Permit page on this website for details.
City/Washington County Dump Station
The City/Washington County Solid Waste District also provides a “dump station” on 100 North St. next to the Power Substation (approximately 950 East 100 N). These dumpsters are for residential use only. Commercial and construction materials are not to be placed in the dumpsters. Make sure that you do not dump hazardous materials or other items that are not allowed into the dumpsters. Fines will be assessed for violations.
Recycling
Recycling is voluntary in Enterprise, with recycle bins conveniently located near the post office. Funds from the recycled materials are refunded to the City annually, so we encourage all that wish to, to use this service. Please help us keep this service, by making sure that the Recycle Bin area is kept clean of debris and garbage. Make sure all items are put into the bins, not around them.
Storm Drainage
The City has improved storm drainage within the community. As part of the new city park project, storm water retention basins were created to help hold and store large storm water flows until a storm event has passed, when it can be released more slowly and safely. In addition, a brand new storm drain main line has been extended from 550 South all the way to Spring Creek Wash. These improvements will benefit the City for years to come.
Citizens can greatly help with storm drainage within the city by keeping street gutters, borrow pits and culverts free from debris. Crushed or bent culverts need to be repaired or replaced.
Check with the City before doing work that may affect storm drainage, such as adding culverts or driveway/accesses that will cross a storm drainage channel. Click below for an information sheet on Culverts and Valley Gutters.
